Welcome from Our Headteacher
A very warm welcome to our ‘outstanding’ Nursery School. Ganneys Meadow is a Wirral Local Authority Maintained Nursery School, offering places for children from across the Wirral. We offer a high quality learning environment, led by qualified teachers for our 3 and 4 year olds, and our highly experienced staff work with children from 2-4 years of age. We are delighted to offer the 30 hours free Nursery Education (dependent on meeting the criteria) and Breakfast and After School Clubs which offer flexibility for working parents. We also offer 15 hour places for 2,3 and 4 year olds and the option of parent funded sessions.

Our team approach to your child, and the whole family, means that we can offer a range of support and advice during your time with us. The ‘outstanding’ early years’ education that we provide will develop and nurture your child’s development of skills and help to prepare them for their lifelong journey as a learner. Our team of staff work closely with other professionals to ensure that we can offer the very best for our children and their families.
First and foremost, we pride ourselves on our personal approach to children and families. Wellbeing is always high on the agenda and we believe in having a positive approach to learning and life. We were recently successful in achieving Nurture School Award and this demonstrates our commitment to nurturing our children and whole school community. You can find out more about this on our Nurture Schools tab.
I look forward to welcoming you to our school and I can guarantee that you will be met with a smile. Please contact our school if you are interested in a place, there really is nothing better than a personal visit.
